My name is Judi and I am the owner, designer, and proud parent of A Postcard To Remember... Our postcard site is not a big company but a small family operation that was first introduced at Geocities in 1999 (under another name) and started out as a part of our Friendship Connection. We are still part of the same family but each site now has it's own little place on the web. There will always be links between the two sites because they have so much in common...most importantly our desire to create family-safe greetings that are unique and beautifully designed from the heart. The name was later changed to A Postcard To Remember... when we decided that our purpose was to create the kind of cards that you, our visitors, would remember and return often to send more of. As you browse through our categories of postcards you will find that they are different from some of the others available on the internet - not necessarily better because there are lots of great postcard sites out there with lots of great cards available to be sent. But...in addition to the many, many cards to choose from - we have also tried to pay particular attention to details and provide cards that are just a little more unique. Judging by the e-mails we receive from many of you we are succeeding in doing just that. It is also our goal to be available to answer all of your questions and respond to all e-mails that are received. It's possible that it may take a while but we do answer our mail. And we will always try to help you find a solution no matter what it takes. We've been told on more than one occasion that we've gone above and beyond trying to help with a problem that one of our users may have run into. For example, one of the most often asked questions is the one about the "edit more" feature on the postcard preview page. It took a while to realize what the problem might be and finally we added a help file link on the postcard composition page that we hope will "fix" this particular situation. In addition, we've also added many other help files on the composition page that we're hoping is helping to make your card sending experience just a little easier and less confusing. We realize that are many newcomers to the web who are unfamiliar with sending electronic postcards and we wanted to help in any way possible. We have always intended to take a personal interest in our steady flow of visitors which has grown significantly over the years. We take pride and pleasure in providing a quality service that is family-safe, free and well received by many on the world wide web. At this point we would like to genuinely thank you for your patronage and promise to continue to bring the very best in what has grown to be a very popular way of keeping in touch with friends and loved ones via the internet - electronic postcards. And because we are a family operation without any big name sponsors or supporters we depend on our advertisers to help pay our expenses which includes our webhosting services, bandwidth, and access to the postcard engine that runs our postcard site. We refuse to add pop-up advertising to any of our web pages simply because we strongly dislike the way that they interfere with your valuable time that's spent visiting our site. They get in the way and are very intrusive. But we do include some banners that are carefully chosen in the hopes that they may appeal to you and maybe in the end you may be interested in visiting. We've tried to keep them to a minimum so that you would not be overwhelmed. Did you know that by just clicking on one banner ad per visit, with no purchase necessary, that you have helped support us and keep us up and running?
